Lovely lowercase script font of “support your local artists!” carved into steel– to decorate your own brick & mortar store, wall or door. This is a 2-piece metal artwork set in 1/8″ thick steel, hand powder-coated black, and then mounted on a sturdy foam core board background that is hand-painted orange to make each word pop!
This artful sign measures 12″ High by 10″ Wide– a perfect size to display on a table, set on a mantel, or hang in any room! (Display rack shown in photo not included.)
We design, make and hand-finish all our metal artworks from solid steel– not thin sheet metal or tin– to look beautiful and endure a lifetime!
Why do we use 1/8″ thick steel for our art? We use 1/8″ because it makes a strong beautiful piece of metal art that will stand up to pretty much anything without bending and the thickness makes it look and feel substantial due to its depth. It’s the standard we use on our signs, brackets, and metal art, and is a lot more than those we see out there.
To put it in terms of U.S. coins:
1/8″ = .125″ = 11 Gauge = Thicker than a Quarter and a Dime Stacked on Top of Each Other (2.4% Thicker). It is 250% thicker than 18 Gauge and 60% thicker than 14 Gauge.
